The man behind these questions is Guy Standing, Professorial Research Associate at SOAS University of London and founder and co-president of the Basic Income Earth Network (BIEN).

Standing is the author of the book ‘Basic Income: A guide for the Open-Minded’ exploring basic income as a revolutionary idea that guarantees regular, unconditional cash transfers from the government to all citizens.

In this livestream Standing will introduce the concept of basic income and touch upon its effects on the economy, poverty, work, and labor. Noa Kjærsgaard Hansen moderates.
